2 Player Raid Tycoon Weapons Tier List
Nine-weapon ladder ranked by role—honest guidance without fake DPS sheets.
Honest ranking disclaimer
2 Player Raid Tycoon features a nine-weapon progression from a starter pistol up through mid-tier guns toward flamethrower and rocket launcher power. Exact in-game display names and stats can differ by floor or patch, so this list ranks roles, not invented DPS/price tables.

Role tiers
S — Core mid guns (your real starter kit)
Once you leave the pistol behind, mid-tier guns do the daily work: pressuring power, winning hallway peeks, and escorting vault cracks. If you can only afford one serious upgrade after eco, make it a dependable mid gun.
Why S:
- Enables the full raid loop without waiting on endgame
- Flexible for defense peeks when your partner is away (How to Defend)
- Scales into events (KotH/Oddball skirmishes) without special ammo drama
A — Flamethrower (area denial specialty)
The flamethrower role shines in chokes, vault mouths, and stacked guard doorways. It is not always the best open-field duel tool, but it punishes defenders who re-peek the same angle.
Buy when:
- Your mid gun clears are stalling in tight bases
- You want Partner A on deny while Partner B breaks (Players)
- You face laser/guard nests that reward continuous pressure
A — Rocket launcher (breakthrough specialty)
The rocket role is for turtled factories, turret nests, and “we need the vault open now” moments. It is a tempo button, not a spray replacement for mid guns.
Buy when:
- Targets rebuilt hard after your first successful raid
- Predator Missile / airstrike metas make hit-and-break valuable (Predator Missile)
- Your duo already has stable droppers and a mid gun each
B — Starter pistol
The pistol teaches range, objective locations, and how power rooms feel. It is mandatory early and outdated the moment a mid gun is online. Keep it only as fallback.
C — Out-of-order flex buys
Any late specialty purchased before floors, upgraders, or walls belongs here—even if the gun itself is strong. A rocket on a broke factory is a liability when revenge hits.
Nine-weapon ladder strategy
You will unlock roughly nine steps. Without forcing fake names, treat the ladder as:
- Pistol (learn) 2–N. Mid progression guns (prioritize the first truly solid mid) N+1. Utility / stronger mid variants as floors allow Late. Flamethrower-style denial Late. Rocket-style breakthrough
If two mid options appear, pick the one that helps power fights first; vault greed guns come second.
Synergy with defense and eco
Weapons do not replace guards or lasers. After a big gun buy:
- Confirm conveyors still running
- Repair walls from the last revenge
- Schedule a short raid, not a three-base world tour
- Reinvest stolen cash into the next floor
Redeem Codes into eco during Double Cash when possible, then weaponize the surplus.
Co-op loadout templates
Balanced duo
Both mid guns → first flamethrower on the clearer → rocket on the breaker.
Eco-safe duo
One mid gun shared timing (stagger unlocks) while the other funds a floor + Epic guard.
Event duo
Mid guns first so KotH/Oddball fights are realistic; specialties after a clean deposit.
Mistakes that fake “F tier” guns
- Judging a mid gun while your partner never pressures power
- Using rockets on empty starter bases
- Flamethrowing in huge open yards with no choke
- Ignoring Getting Started order and arriving under-built

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, raids, defenses, and co-op play.
How many weapons are in 2 Player Raid Tycoon?
There are nine weapons on the progression ladder, starting from a pistol and climbing toward flamethrower and rocket launcher power.
What should I unlock after the pistol?
A solid mid gun for power fights and general raids. Save flamethrower and rocket specialties until income and defense are stable.
Is the flamethrower better than rockets?
They fill different roles. Flamethrower denies chokes and vault mouths; rockets break turtled defenses. Many duos want one of each.
Why don’t you list exact damage numbers?
Exact DPS and prices shift and are often misreported. Role-based guidance stays accurate without inventing stats.
Should both partners buy the same gun?
Share mid guns early if needed, but stagger specialties—one denial, one breakthrough—so your raid kit covers more situations.
