Controls overview

2 Player Raid Tycoon is a Roblox experience, so inputs follow familiar Roblox patterns on Desktop, Mobile, Console, and Tablet. This page is the practical map: how to move and fight, how to hit tycoon buttons without misclicks, and how to open the Shop code field without missing free progress. Parent hub: Players. Desktop habits that win lobbies

• Remap look sensitivity if you over-flick in power rooms

• Click Shop carefully; misclicking a purchase next to the code box wastes a Double Cash window

Mobile — touch thumbstick and HUD

Mobile uses a dynamic thumbstick, on-screen jump/fire/interact, and a denser HUD. Tycoon games punish tiny hitboxes, so set yourself up:

1. Lower camera sensitivity if you constantly aim at the sky in vault mouths.
2. Learn where Shop, daily reward, and inventory buttons live after the UI collapses.
3. Tap interact deliberately on conveyor/floor buttons—panic mashing buys the wrong upgrade.
4. When raiding, prefer stable footing before firing; drift-strafing into lasers is a Mobile classic.

Shop codes on Mobile

• Open Shop from the main HUD (not a mythical separate Codes app)
• Tap the code field once; paste LAUNCH or THX1500 from your notes clipboard if typing is painful
• Match capitalization; trailing spaces from paste fails redeem
• Confirm the reward toast before rotating into an Air Drop

Many Mobile players “never get codes” because the Shop entry is buried. Check once every session join.

Tablet — Mobile rules with more glass

Tablet is Mobile controls with a larger screen. Advantages: easier button reading, clearer turret sightlines. Risks: holding the device with both thumbs while trying to chat.

Tips:

• Use a stand or stable grip for long Double Cash mash sessions
• Prefer party voice / quick chat macros for co-op calls if typing is slow
• Zoom out enough to see laser doors when anchoring defense
• Same Shop redeem path as Mobile—paste codes when possible

Console — sticks, triggers, and menus

Enable any available aim-assist or sensitivity comfort options in Roblox/device settings. Console typing for codes is the pain point—prepare strings in a phone note, then enter carefully character by character, or redeem on Desktop/Mobile first on the same account when you can.

Console Shop tips

• Navigate to Shop before the first raid adrenaline spike
• Enter LAUNCH and THX1500 exactly; avoid lowercase freestyles
• If on-screen keyboards insert spaces, delete them before confirming
• After redeem, tab back to the factory pad so you do not stand AFK in a hallway

Party chat beats the software keyboard mid-Oddball. Agree on the three-call language from the Players hub before the match gets loud.

Shared actions every platform needs

Regardless of device, you must be able to:

• Claim / stand on your factory side with a partner
• Press income buttons (droppers, conveyors, upgraders, floors)
• Equip and fire weapons along the nine-gun ladder
• Interact with defense buttons (walls, lasers, turrets, guards)
• Open Shop for codes and any cash shop entries
• Read event prompts for Air Drops, KotH, Oddball, Double Cash (Events)

If any of those actions feel impossible on your device, fix binds/UI scale before blaming the meta.

Code entry checklist (all platforms)

1. Join on the account you actually play.
2. Open Shop (codes live here—not a separate Codes GUI).
3. Redeem LAUNCH (early perks) and THX1500 (active milestone thank-you).
4. Optionally test THX1250 once—likely expired/replaced.
5. Do not invent OP variants; OP is planned around 2500 likes and is unreleased until announced.
6. Spend during Double Cash into the Factory Building spine.

Co-op on mixed platforms

Cross-play duos should assign jobs to input strengths:

• Desktop: precise power peeks and Shop/menu admin
• Mobile/Tablet: anchor button mashing with larger UI, or flamethrower chokes if aim is shaky at range
• Console: stick combat with voice calls; pre-redeem codes when keyboard entry is painful

Swap Anchor/Rover roles so nobody is stuck on a platform-disadvantaged job all night. If a partner’s touch controls make vault cracks miserable, let them hold home during raids and take event Rovers when comfortable.

Practice drills

1. Cold start: join → find Shop → redeem a code in under a minute on your main device.
2. Button walk: buy one dropper/conveyor/upgrader without misclicking neighbors.
3. Combat swap: pistol to mid gun equip under 3 seconds.
4. Defense panic: from mid-map, return and hit a repair/interact on a wall within a short timer.
5. Call discipline: only Power / Vault / Home for one full raid loop.
