Getting Started

What you are playing

2 Player Raid Tycoon is a Roblox co-op factory tycoon from STRAY FRAME. You claim one side of a shared factory layout with a partner, buy droppers and conveyors, climb floors, unlock up to nine weapons, then raid other teams for vault cash while defending your own base. Platforms include Desktop, Mobile, Console, and Tablet.

This day-one guide is the safest order of operations. It links deeper pages when you need detail: Factory Building, How to Raid, How to Defend, and Codes.

Minute 0–5: claim and codes

  1. Join the Roblox place with a friend if possible.
  2. Claim a factory side together. Decide who is “builder” and who is “scout” for the first ten minutes (Players has role tips).
  3. Open the Shop and redeem active codes: LAUNCH and THX1500. Try THX1250 only as a check—it may be expired. Watch for the upcoming OP code around 2500 likes.
  4. Collect daily rewards and note any play-time gift timers so you do not leave right before a payout.

Do not sprint into a rival base with a pistol and zero walls. Early deaths teach the map, but empty vaults teach expensive lessons.

Minute 5–20: build the income spine

Spend first cash on the production chain:

  • Droppers that spawn ore/parts
  • Conveyors that move them
  • Upgraders that multiply value before collection

Buy in that spirit even when button names differ per floor. One working line beats three half-bought stubs. Keep walking the line to confirm items are not stuck.

Unlock the next floor when the current line is stable. Floors gate better droppers, defense buttons, and later weapons. Exact prices change with updates—judge by cash-per-minute, not pride. Full priority notes live in Factory Building.

During Double Cash events (they rotate every few minutes with Air Drops, King of the Hill, and Oddball), stop sightseeing and mash income buttons. That is your snowball window.

Minute 20–40: light defense before glory

Before your first intentional raid, place a minimum defense package:

  • At least one wall choke toward your vault path
  • A laser door if available on your floor
  • The cheapest turret covering the obvious entry

Guards come from rarity rolls (Rare / Epic / Legendary). Early on, take any guard that covers a doorway; optimize later with the Guards Tier List. Deeper setups are in How to Defend.

Agree with your partner: one person stays near the base during the first enemy push. Many new duos both leave for KotH and return to a cleaned vault.

Minute 40–60: unlock weapons with intent

There are nine weapons on the progression ladder, starting from a pistol and climbing through mid-tier guns toward flamethrower and rocket launcher style power. You do not need the full ladder before your first raid, but you do need a plan:

  • Pistol — learn ranges and how power objectives feel
  • Mid guns — clearer vault pressure and defender fights
  • Flamethrower — area denial in hallways
  • Rocket — breakthrough / panic tool when a defense softens

Rankings by role (without invented DPS) are on the Weapons Tier List. Pair unlocks with the Raid Checklist so you do not buy a late gun while droppers are still missing.

Your first raid (keep it short)

Read the full loop in How to Raid. For attempt one:

  1. Scout whether the rival factory looks richer than yours.
  2. Enter together; call targets in chat.
  3. Shoot the power objective that weakens their defenses.
  4. Crack the vault only after power pressure lands.
  5. Run cash home—living with half a bag beats dying with a full one.
  6. Reset defenses; expect revenge and possible airstrike-style payback tools as lobbies escalate.

If Predator Missile tools are live in your build, skim Predator Missile before spending them randomly on empty bases.

Events without tilting

Timed events are free money if you treat them as co-op mini-games:

  • Air Drops — move early; late teams fight over scraps
  • King of the Hill — one holds, one rotates home if your vault is naked
  • Oddball — communicate carrier swaps
  • Double Cash — builder stays on buttons; scout only leaves if base is safe

Never empty both players from base for a low-value event when a neighboring team is already geared.

Controls snapshot

Roblox defaults apply on Desktop (WASD move, mouse look, click to interact/shoot depending on tool). Mobile and Console use touch/thumbstick equivalents; bind comfort matters more than copying PC players. Full platform notes: Players.

Day-one checklist

  • Factory side claimed with partner roles spoken out loud
  • LAUNCH + THX1500 redeemed in Shop
  • First dropper/conveyor/upgrader line running
  • Next floor unlocked or clearly banked for
  • Wall + laser/turret minimum online
  • At least pistol + one mid gun plan
  • One short raid completed with cash returned
  • Daily reward + play-time gift collected

Play greedy on income, stingy on ego. The duo that banks cash and rotates home wins more lobbies than the duo that dies in every vault doorway.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, raids, defenses, and co-op play.

What should I buy first in 2 Player Raid Tycoon?

Income buttons first: droppers, conveyors, then upgraders. Add a light defense layer before long raids, then climb the weapon ladder.

Do codes matter on day one?

Yes. Redeem LAUNCH and THX1500 in the Shop immediately so early floors and events snowball harder.

Can I play without a friend?

You can learn systems solo, but the game is designed around two-player coordination for building, events, and raids.

When should I take my first raid?

After a working income line and a minimum wall/laser/turret setup. Keep the first raid short and prioritize running cash home.

Where do I learn defense and raiding in depth?

Use How to Defend and How to Raid after this page, plus the Weapons and Guards tier lists for spend priorities.
